The Canadian Cloud Council’s third national cloud conference, “Cloud Matters”, will be held at the Rimrock Resort in Banff, Alberta on March 11 and 12, 2013 and will feature Steven Woodward, Chief Technology Officer at Canadian Cloud Council.
Steven Woodward, CEO of Cloud Perspectives and Chief Cloud Officer at The Politburo, is a globally renowned cloud technology expert and leading contributor with FedRamp, National Institute of Standards for Technology (NIST) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Joint Collaboration Activity working groups. Steven authored and leads cloud computing best practices and guides with NIST, ITU-T, TM Forum, ISMA-IFPUG and the OMG. Subject areas include reference architecture, roles, brokers, resources, metrics, estimation, project management, sub-services, metering, costing, planning and governance. He is a leading and encouraging international cloud collaboration in the industry and academia. Based in Ottawa, Canada, he is also a member of the Shared Services Canada Advisory Committee.
